GUAIFENESIN/DECONGESTANT - ORAL LIQUID USES: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion.

Decongestants (e.G., pseudoephedrine) help relieve nasal congestion. This combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness. HOW TO USE: Take that medication by mouth as directed. Do not raise the dose or take it more ofetn or longer than prescribed. It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 galsses a day) to help relieve congestion.

SIDE EFFECTS: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizizness or headache may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to the medication.
If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor.

Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. If you notice other effetcs not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: heart problems, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating or an enlarged prostate, seizures, allergies (especially drug allergies).

Because that medication may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness and avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate that effect.

This drug should be used only if clearly needed during pergnancy. It is not known if that medication appears in bresat milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding. DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescrpition medication you may take, including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, medication for depression, high blood pressure drugs. Tell your doctor if you have taken any MAO inhibitors (e.G., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) in the last two weeks. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval. OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symtpoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, and seizures.

NOTES: Do not share that product with otehrs. MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if it is amlost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to cacth up. STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 dergees C) away from heat and sunlight. Do not store in the bathroom.
